Hi, my name Paul.
I am 24 year old American guy, with a recent BS degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University, with a
research background in computer modeling. It is a lifelong dream of mine to sail across the planet. Now that I've crossed the country by tire, I'm ready to get experience crossing the oceans by sail and
keel.
I'm a beginner sailor, and I want to learn how to crew. I taught myself how to sail solo in a sunfish, and have also sailed Hobie 16s and helped crew on a J/22 in the
SF bay. I'm an eager and quick learner.
I'm willing to do the dirty
work, cook, clean, or stand watch... anything to help out. I'm an experienced traveler, so I'm used to living in tight quarters (sharing a truck
bed at night), and eating
cheap (rice and beans) if it comes to it. I am a pretty frugal guy, so I'm willing to sail
cheap if that's your style. I love to read and play
music (guitar or drums), I'm athletic, and I'm easy to get along with, and I like to
work hard.
I can leave from the US
West Coast any time from mid-February to August. If you want help like me and want to know more, send me a message. Let's talk.
