Easy going, hard-working crew guy for March in the Caribbean

Hi,

I'm a 27 year old adventurous guy interested in seeing if anyone has any crew opportunities in the Caribbean over March 15 - 24, 2013, my spring break from graduate school. I am willing to fly down anywhere in the Caribbean.

I'm not looking for a charter, but crew opportunities where expenses such as food, drink, etc. will be shared in exchange for the opportunity to brush up on my sailing skills and a grand adventure.

I've been to many islands before (St. Maarten, St. Barths, St. Kitts & Nevis, Saba, St. Eustatius, Virgin Islands, etc.). I lived aboard a 40ft yacht when I was younger and while my skills will certainly need some brushing up I am confident both in and on the water. I'm certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver & International Yacht Training (IYT) International Crew. I'm a bit rusty with both, but am itching to get back into sailing especially.

I am a very laid back person, very easy going, and I love spending time outside. I enjoy hiking, kite surfing, sailing, swimming. I absolutely love to free dive and am like a fish in water.

I thoroughly enjoy cooking, have no problem cleaning and in general I am a hard worker. I am intelligent and a quick learner. I am a good listener with common sense and can take instructions well.

If anyone is searching searching for an adventurous, easy going, fun and intelligent traveling partner for a week this March, I think I can fit that bill.

Andy

P.S. Credit is due to this post for inspiring me at this late hour and on my first post!

Are you still looking for a Caribbean trip. Retired couple needs extra hand from Puerto Morelos, MX to Rio Dulce river in Guatemala. Crew could also jump off at Placencia, Belize if preferred. We are on a 36' Islander sloop at El Cid Marina.
