Crew Wanted: Delivery Captain Wanted

Hi All,
I am looking at purchasing a F&P Orana 44 in the Carribean need a competent person or persons to sail the boat to New Zealand. Could be an individual or experienced cruising couple.

Purchase, all going well with the survey, should take place in Martinique in mid May, and I was going to have the boat moved and moored in Grenada until mid August when I will be available to do the trip.

Boat is 2010 3 cabin model and very well equiped. Anyyone interested please PM me.

No doubt, Orana's are sweet. I like the little half berth they have. Yours may not because it's the owners version. Also the raised fly bridge isn't to high. You have good bridgedeck clearance too.

Hello again,
Firstly, thank you everyone who has replied to my post both in seeking to help me move the boat and the messages of congratulations in regard to the purchase.
For those wanting to keep in touch and those who may still be considering this opportunity I am happy to be contacted direct at vercoe5@xtra.co.nz and please if you wouldn't mind include information regarding experience ( I know some already have) along with an idea of the cost of doing so.

At this stage I not looking for the cheapest or the least or best of experience. The main consideration above all of the former is finding someone who I feel I can work with best, but yes, without costing me my kids inheritance to do so.

Again thank you all for taking the time to consider this opportunity and I look forward to communicating with those who would like to do this trip. I understand it may be some months off yet but I prefer to plan early for this eventuality.

Hi Palarran,
Yes I'm a kiwi, born, breed and domecilled, although spent 13 years living in Sydney, and as a consequence of the time there ended up with 3 little aussies, plus the wife of course ( another aussie ) so that makes following the All Blacks rugby team a bit of a lone experience and also difficult when we play against the australian team..... whom we nearly always beat though.

Just finished cat delivery to San Juan, live in BVI, but delivering another FP cat from Singapore to Brisbane at the end of this month. I should be available back in the Caribbean to fit your time-frame. Will email you in the next day with sailing resume etc, when I get home to BVI (hopefullly later to-day!) Tony
