Greetings, looking for one or two crew to assist in the final leg of my Cat from Fiji to Brisbane. Looking to leave by mid October at latest. Island Spirit 401 Cat and have brought her from Vancouver tro USA, Mexico, Tahiti, Tonga and Fiji.Presenty in Denarau Fiji till departure. Fully loaded blue water cruiser. Non stop Fiji to Brisbane envisaged....
Easy going, able to stand watches and general duties, share food costs only if applicable. I have over 40,000 miles but require at least one crew for insurance. Let me know if you are wanting to be aprt of the journey....
I am fit and active 62 year old, bring your own music and plug in if you wish....

Pete, I am interested! I have a Cal 40 which I single hand regularly on the west coast. I started sailing when I was a kid. I am also 62 and fit. I will know the week of Oct 5 if I can make mid October. Approx how long is the trip?

Cal 40 is a great boat!!
Trip should take around 12 days....... depending on the weather BUT hpoing for a broad reach most of the way if history repeats itself!!!
Be great to have someone like you aboard and lets see what your schedule dictates.

That would be great. Let me know when and if you can make it as at present I have a youngster with basic experience so would love to have you aboard. It will be a great run and look forward to your reply. If we have to leave a tad later then so be it.
