Crew Wanted: Annapolis to Fl and Beyond

Looking for crew to join me in taking my boat from Annapolis to Florida and beyond. I have spent to much time in the cold so I am relocating south.

Boat: 1983 Hunter 34. I have lived aboard for the past 4 months and added comfort items to her...A/C, fridge, oven, etc.

Me: recently retired from the federal workforce after 38 years as a GI, civil servant and beltway bandit (contractor). Spent the last two years unemployed (thank God) sailing and outfitting my boat. I am ready to head south and escape the cold. I am a laid back smoker and enjoy cocktail hour once docked.

Plan: I usually single hand but would like company for the trip south and maybe beyond. Leaving late September or early October down the ICW. Plan on spending most nights at a Marina. It will be a leisurely trip, if I find a fun place to dock may stay a day or a week.

I do not expect the crew to share boat expenses, you just need to cover your personal expenses.

I am a recently retired State worker, and investor (more about that later). I just started sailing. That means I am a novice, but an eager student. At 52, I have tried mountain climbing, surfing, martial arts...but am healing from letting 25 year olds throw me down on the mat a dozen times a day Anyway, I have been told I am an interesting person, and easy to get along with (tolerant) and I would fight you for who picks up the tab. iI you get desperate give me a shout. My husband and I are also in Annapolis and are looking to head south Oct/Nov. We will be at Hartge Yacht Harbor in Galesville. We are also looking for exp crew/captain. At the moment we are hold up in a hotel waiting to take poss. of our boat 42' Vagabond in Rock Hall. We also enjoy cocktails and are both smokers. If you find suitable crew would be interested in sharing notes. Hope all works out for you.
