Crew for HAHA

Wife and I are considering taking on one crew member for the HAHA Rally this year. Really looking for the "right" person.

We have a 38ft Trimaran, there is a private aft cabin that will be available though it is shared with a lot of electronics and other essential equipment.

We also will have our 2yr old daughter on board so the crew needs to be ok with children on board. We will provide food, etc while on board though we are fairly simple so don't expect elaborate meals.

The crew member needs to be reasonably experienced as we are mainly looking for someone who will take atleast one 4 hour night watch with the rest of the requirements being fairly flexible.

Pickup will be in san diego on the 26th, though we could also possibly arrange pickup anywhere else between ventura and san diego the week before.

Re: Crew for HAHA

Hit the crew party up in SF.. dozzens of people show up and you can pick and chose who you want.. The party was held at Oakland YC in Alameda the year we went down..
Its a great place to find crew..

Re: Crew for HAHA

I am 68 years old and in excellent health from the San Francisco Bay Area. I have decades of sailing experience on SF Bay (no bluewater and limited coastal sailing). I once owned a Coronado27 for 10 years. I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren and am more than fine with children.
I can only free-up about 30 days. I can meet you in San Diego and can exit at Cabo. If you wanted to explore the Sea of Cortez (Bay of California) for a few weeks, I am definitely a go.
