COUPLE WANTING SAILING EXPERIENCE / NO TIME CONSTRAINTS

To the Skipper

My boyfriend and I are looking for as much sailing experience as we can attain and are very adventurous. I am Canadian (30) and he is from Cornwall, England (24). We both have many skills that would be an asset on any boat. As follows - Musicians, Woodworker, English Teacher, Fitness Instructor, IT trained (computer engineer & technician), Very physically fit, willingness to learn and work very hard, Cooking, Love for the water (canoeing, snorkelling, scuba diving) and travel, non-smokers. Our schedules are open with no commitments. We are presently traveling through the Florida Keys and can meet up at any stop off point. Please email or preferably call us and we will get back to you ASAP. Our cell number here is 305-304-9442. Email rebeccahogarth@hotmail.com Please leave message as our phone runs off solar power! Let us know if you need pictures or anymore information.

Umm, not sure where your home town is but you may want to try your local sailing club. Racers are always looking for crew, dependabilty is a key requirement.

If you are looking for someone to take you cruising it might be a tough sell, not many people are willing to sign up crew they don't know and who have no sailing experience.

But good luck

In my opinion the best way you can get sailing experience is by sailing. Sailing is easiest when you have your own boat.

If you sail a dinghy like a Lido 14 or a Hobie 16 around your area you can gain lots of experience. And they are both good fun! You could get a functional boat for 1000$ US.(Southern California) And, both of these boats can handle two people.
