I am a 25 yo female sailing currently with my partner in the Caribbean
, we are on a boat
till she reaches Antigua
when her normal crew/friends and loved ones fly out for Classics Week etc. So we are looking for another boat/our next adventure from the middle of March onwards.
We have our eye on a possible Pacific crossing, if not a crossing back to the UK/Europe, where I will have work
at the summer regattas such as Cowes week.
I have been sailing for many years and have lots of miles plus two transats, power boat
qualifications and a lots of experience doing bow for a racing boat
under my belt. My other half has day skipper
, a transat and power boat
driving experience. I can also cook up a storm and am more than willing to join in with any work
that is needed.
We would ideally love to move to another classic
boat as this is what we both love and where most of my maintenance
skills come from. But any boat that is heading somewhere and not just sitting alongside/at anchor
would be good.
Looking forward to hearing from you all,
Pippa (and Edward)
We are also available for day work if our timings coincide if anyone needs work doing, mostly traditional work from simple things such as splicing laid rope
and re oiling wood work/rigging, to the more complicated jobs of netting repairs
and servings etc.
