Competent crew

I am a strong, able body, clam minded, female sailor with off shore and inland experience. I can cook in a galley underway, clean, and keep moods light with my ukulele. I am surprisingly good with diesel engine maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting. I can pull watches and lines alone. Looking for delivery crew opportunities. I am currently in N. Florida. . live aboard, sail and maintain a 38' vagabond for absent owners. High school science teacher/ Nursing student in need of summer work/adventure. Contact if competent crew needed.

~off sailing

Re: Competent crew

Rachael~

I would like to discuss the possibility of your joining me as a sailing mate.
My plans are still up in the air but I'm formulating things.
I live in Boca Raton now.
I have always sailed New England in the summer and then
south to Florida and the Caribbean in the winter.
My sons are all grown up and not as available so I do need some help.
I'm a very interesting person. If you go to:
you will know more about me.

Email me at "capthookk@gmail.com" Regards... David

Re: Competent crew

I'm out in Dominica right now and cruising south to Grenada for the summer. I have space open till the middle of July. I looked at your pictures in your profile and it looked like you were on a Bristol I know in St. Augustine, FL. Was that the Bristol 40 in English Landing Marina? If so we probably know a lot of the same people.

Re: Competent crew

Rachel,

I have one crew position... I am planning to sail from NY to Antigua in the fall with a crew of 3. I've done the trip many times. Plan to stop in Bermuda. The other crew has done it several times as well.

If this interests you, please PM and we can discuss details.

Re: Competent crew

I'm trying to sell Gary's schooner here in Dominica as a fruit and vegetable hauler up and down the islands. It would be a cool business. Although I don't know if have the energy for it. I'm off in 10 minutes to talk to the coop.
