Re: CATAMARANSAILINGTHECARIBEAN

Hi -

I've bareboated several times in the Grenadines plus St Lucia, St Vincent, Grenada, and separately in the Cayes of Belize so have experience both on land and at sea in these areas. I would be interested in joining for 4-6 weeks beginning anytime after Christmas. I am 50 years old, and recently laid off from my job so have some time at hand. I am certified SCUBA, and hold a private airplane pilot's license. I can also catch and clean fish! You can reach me to discuss more at jackzav@charter.net

Re: CATAMARANSAILINGTHECARIBEAN

Hello, I have a crazy husband who is building a 50 foot catamaran....and guess what? we don't know how to sail!!! Although, both of us love the water and are looking for any hands-on experience we can get (after all, we have to learn before he finishes!!). We are both in our early 40's from Brazil but live in Vancouver, Canada.
We are headed to our annual Miami boat show visit early February and are looking to exchange help for learning
Can you tell us where you will be and if you have one room available for us for a few days starting Feb 8th? Number of days is flexible.
Look forward to hearing from you!
Cristina

Re: CATAMARANSAILINGTHECARIBEAN

Hi, I am currently in St. Maarten and looking for a boat to go sailing with for about 10 days, some time during February. I am an experienced sailor with a Yachtmaster licence, having spent 3 years sailing around the world on a 39 ft ketch, and these days I'm working on a 50 m sail yacht here in St. Maarten!
I think my sailing skills are a bit rusty, but that's why I would love to join a boat and go sailing, and at the same time enjoy some holiday off work. Unfortunately it cannot be longer than 10 days, since I am working and don't have much vacation.. but I could fly out of St. Maarten and join you wherever you might be. I'm flexible with the dates. :-)
By the way I am from Norway, 29 years old, and I'm a good and reliable watch-keeper!

Hope to hear from you! :-)

Re: CATAMARANSAILINGTHECARIBEAN

I am a 29 year old, female. I have experience with long journeys at sea but minimal sailing experience. I want to sail to Cuba rather than fly for the excitement and learning opportunity. I am a fast learner and good cook. I will be available for travel June 1st. I only need a ride to Cuba from wherever you happen to be ported at that time. I can plan in advance to fly to your location. Is this a possibility? Please reply: dewitta01 at yahoo dot com
