Finally finished yacht rebuild and am now seeking employment.
Mecanical/Electrical engineer and have been on sail and power boats
for the last 30 years.
In this time i have sailed a 24ft yacht from Australia to Europe to the
Caribbean.Delivered numerous boats around the Atlantic into the Pacific.
Owned and operated a small (6 boats) charter company out of St. Martin
for 8 years.
Paddled a Canoe and rode a M/Cycle across most of Europe and the USA.
Worked as a Rigger,Diver,Captain/Mate/Engineer/Deckhand/cook and as a general Gopher.
I would be happy to fill any of the above positions for keep,Food (not much)
and a trifle sum.
I don't smoke,drink ?,do drugs,and no prescribed meds.
60 years old, 5'10" and 150lbs with a gr8 work ethic.
Willing to go anywhere,located in Florida at the moment.

I am arriving in San Diego late Feb from Australia to purchase a Beneteau 42'
(tbc) and am seeking assistance of an experienced skipper to help sail her back to Australia, commencing late March( approx)

I anticipate adding one or two casual crew, and expect to sail fro San Diego to Marquesas,Tahiti,Tonga,Fiji to Oz.

Onlyjust arrived in the Bahamas and managed to get to a wifi connection
and found your mail..
I will be definitely be free around that time anyway .
I originally sailed up from Oz during the late 70s,arriving in England first
and from there,Europe the Med and eventually across to the Caribbean and
the states,,,lots of deliveries across the Atlantic and eastern US sea board
along with south america...
I am also in my early 60s and kinda figure myself youngish,,we all do at this
age...i'm not a smoker,drinker ? or a drug user,,,,gr8 work ethic and makea gr8 coffee,,,along with a tidy life style...
Most of my deliveries have been around $100 a day plus expenses,,,for an
extra long delivery this can be modified ,,(lowered) as long as expenses and
flight is included.
