Re: Boat and croissantss

weavis, perhaps it is simply a case of misplaced priorities, but I really don't think we have room in the galley for one of those fancy rolling machines.

You dont?
No goodies for YOU then!

I never went offshore for more than a couple of days, maybe 4 days in total if I could help it. They will last two days in the fridge and then can have them when get to shore again.....

MUCH better fresh..... much.
sigh

There is only one pastry better than these........ and in my opinion.. MUCH better........

Ramsey's a wanker.. you don't need a machine to make croissants... the best are made by hand.

Re: Boat and croissantss

So, boatman, you're saying I have no excuses as to why I don't prepare fresh croissants for my crew every morning?

Re: Boat and croissantss

I will be flying in to Palma for two days at beginning of July. I have a seminar to do in Zaragoza starting 4th July and its cheaper and easier to fly via Palma from Bristol, stay 2 days then fly out to Spain, than schlep across the country to Stansted on a coach or train and then fly out.

Im hoping to catch up with kenomac whilst there, but if I miss him going I may go back to Mallorca mid July....

You have a seminar on Croissants..??
Awesome...!!
Pass on some tips to Kenomac.. he's been grumpy lately and some good croissants may lift him out of it..

Re: Boat and croissantss

Accomplice, I think you will find that every divorced boater on this forum was unwilling to make the effort to bake fresh croissants for their wife while at sea or in harbor.

Just saying...if you're not going to bake them fresh, you might as well file for divorce now and get it over with. (G)

Re: Boat and croissantss

hellosailor, I'm already on wife #2 (a major upgrade from rev 1.0, I should add). She has developed a gluten intolerance, though -- so my baking efforts are for the rest of my crew.
