Crew Wanted: beware Express Auto Carriers

To all people who may wish to transport a boat. Recently I sold a boat to a man in North Qld. I paid Express Auto Carriers to deliver the boat to an address in Mareeba. Instructions were written and given to the driver in Boonah. I was given to understand that the boat would be delivered to Mareeba. After 3 weeks the boat had not appeared in Mareeba even though many telephone calls were made by myself and the new owner to Express Auto Carriers. One of these telephone calls was to the boss of Express Auto Carriers. Mark. All I received was extreme arrogance and insolence during which I was told that the company delivers only to its depot in Cairns. First mention of this! The new owner paid for alternative transport to get the boat to Mareeba.
If anyone wishes to move a boat then I suggest engaging any transport company other than Express Auto Carriers.
