Crew Wanted: Bermuda to New England - June 2011

Hello sailors,

Devante's Dream, my Jeanneau 40.3, is getting ready to reposition from Bermuda to New England. I am looking for two crew for the prep in Bermuda, some local Bermuda cruising (on land and sea) and then the passage to New England (Marblehead).

It's a 650NM four to six day passage to Marblehead MA. We'll be with the Gulf Stream a good chunk of the way so it should be towards the four to dive day range.

The date windows are as follows:

Tuesday May 31 - June 4: Setup boat and provision
June 4 - June 17: Cruise/visit Bermuda and watch for weather window. When the boat is ready and the passage weather north is good we'll head out. So this time frame will mostly depend on the weather.

If you have two weeks that would be ideal so that we can setup, get familiar with the boat and wait for the right weather window.

Hi John,
Did you sign up with Eric re the trip from Bermuda? My partner and i are planning a trip from Galesville on the West River to Bermuda first week in July. We have a Tartan 42 (1981). There are four persons on board (most all retired or should be), looking for one experienced crew - off shore experience preferred.
