Crew Wanted: Beaufort NC to Cape Canaveral FL.

Heading out after the start of the year, early-mid January to make a straight passage to Cape Canaveral FL weather permitting. Sailing aboard a 50 foot ketch with a private stateroom for crew. Sailing with myself, wife and two small children. Just need someone with some sea experience to help keep watch and get us there.

I would be interested in crewing IF you can get an experienced leader. I have some sailing experience but only in protected water (Chesapeake Bay). I am looking for more experience and follow orders well after 20 years on the military!

Should be a five day trip, taken on an optimal weather window. I have been sailing for a year, and been in the ocean before but this will be my first extended passage. We will be close to shore at all times.
