Crew Wanted: Bahamas - Chesapeake

Crew needed for late June passage from Marsh Harbour, Abacos, to Deltaville, Virginia.

Juno is an Alden 44 that has taken us from Florida across the Atlantic as far as Crete before returning via the Canary, Cape Verde and Caribbean islands.

We will leave Marsh Harbour on the first good weather window after June 22, arriving in Deltaville 5-6 days later.

You must have some sailing background, but offshore experience is not necessary. (In fact, this trip would be perfect for someone wishing to gain such experience.) You must be physically and mentally fit, able to stand 3-hour watches through the night. No smoking, please.

You would need to arrive in Marsh Harbour by the 21st, and we hope to be in Virginia no later than the first days of July (our actual departure day will depend on the weather forecast for the coming days).

Some travel assistance will be offered to experienced offshore sailors.
