I'm currently teaching English
in Yekaterinburg, Russia
. My contract
ends Summer 2011. I want to make the journey home, to New York
, without taking any flights, the long way around the World.
I'd like to cross the Pacific, to the West Coast of the US, by crewing. I can meet you in Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam or Thailand. I'll be in the region Sept/October 2011.
I am not an experienced sailor
. I have been out a few times on a J-24. I am willing to work
to earn your confidence. I am not in a hurry.
I am: 25, male, B.S. in electrical
engineering. US & UK citizenship and valid passports. I speak French and Russian. I can pay for provisions, etc.
Any advice, disapproval or encouragement would be welcome. My Russian cell number is +7 (963)-034-4013. Yekaterinburg time is GMT +5. References
, CV, etc, upon request.
Thanks very much for your time,
Robert H. Burns
