2013 Turn: Texas - Yucatan - Panama Canal - Galapagos - South Pacific

During the 1st semester of 2013 I am planning to sail from Texas, Yucatan, Panama Canal, Galapagos Islands (maybe 1st mainland Salinas/Ecuador) to the South Pacific, whith a staying over there of 2 years.

So, I separated the turn into different legs:
Brownsville, Texas to Yucatan and Panama Canal
Panama Canal to (Salinas) and San Cristobal/Galapagos
Galapagos to Port Vila, Vanuatu Islands
South Pacific round trips

This turn is still in its preparings and I don't have any exact dates available. However, who is interestes in participate in 1 or more legs? I do have 2 places available, experience depending on the legs, is not requiered.

The cost for 1 bed is 80 dollars a day plus cashbox. The boat is a Hunter 31.

Friend, for $80 per day you should list this in the commerce section. That is not crew that is charter guest and high paying at that for a hunter 31.

Your kidding right? In a Hunter 31? What USCG qualifications do you have to charge these crewed charter rates. And you better check with the USCG for licensing. You are chartering, not looking for crew.

Best you fully understand PASSENGER VESSEL SAFETY ACT and how it applies to you.

Does the 80/day include hot showers and 3 prepared meals per day? If not you're out of your mind for a cramped bunk on a 31 hunter!!!!!

A Hunter 31' would not be my fist choice for an offshore sailboat.

You should rethink your thinking. PAY $80.00 a day. Your plan does not seem to be to planned. Good Luck!!!
