1 or 2 crew for Little River SC to Fajardo, PR

Looking for 1 maybe two crewmembers for a trip from Myrtle Beach, SC to Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

Departing late November early December this year, estimated time en-route 12-15 days.

No smoking, drugs or firearms ( you will be searched prior to boarding).

The boat is a 53' Skookum motor sailor with a low time Cat engine and new Tasker sails. THIS IS NOT A YACHT!!! Sat Phone access (limited) will be available during the trip.

We did the same trip in Feburary 2011 and didn't die. We made it back to South Carolina with a 5 year old and non-boating wife as crew,,, and didn't die. My experience is mostly in aviation, (25 years as a Captain with a major US carrier) but have crewed Canada to Hawaii and owned sail boats for 40 years,,,, and haven't died.

We will provide return air fare (up to $500.00) to a port of your choosing. No crew funding for food or incidentals will be required.

You must provide proof of identity and good character.

If you have an interest contact: s/v Aysha Nour, jsutton at ipapilot.org

Re: 1 or 2 crew for Little River SC to Fajardo, PR

I would love to join you in this venture. I would like to get to FL for the winter.
My plan is to find work in the boating community to learn and save for my own sailboat. eventually to live on. this would be a great start for me. I can take a greyhound to SC. I don't smoke or use drugs,in fact I rarely even drink. and I love the outdoors. I am also a fast learner. I have been drooling over youtube videos for 2 weeks now, and itching to get on a sail boat. if you want you can just make me walk the plank on the way past Fl to save the airfare. lol at the moment my plans are very open.
