Every
boat has it's issues. The fact that these were built by TPI and have V drives instead of Saildrives is a big plus. The built in
davits are a dream come true. I can attest that the
boat will carry as much weight as a 47
monohull and still be much faster. The foam problem is messy, all the little foam beads rub off all over when you pull the liner down. I ended up just vacuuming the loose stuff off the backing and reglueing it, but
marine carpet would have been a more permanent solution.. Not sure what the answer for the seacocks is. Fortunately there arent too many below the waterline as I remember. I replaced one and I'll tell you, the seacock itself will never break or corrode, It's super tough stuff, but the handles or stems break off because the plastic swells or seizes and wont turn.
