WTB: Bronze Anchor Windlass
Hey all,
I am looking for a bronze anchor windlass, as made by Port Townsend Foundry, ABI, Vintage, and Plath. If you have one for sale, or know of where to get one for a reasonable price, please let me know.
I would also entertain a SL555.
Thank you for your time!
Aaron N.

ABI bronze windlass: wildcat swap?
I have an ABI bronze windlass with a 5/16" wildcat. I want to keep the windlass but would swap the 5/16" wildcat for a 1/4" wildcat if you find yourself in a situation where that would be helpful. Or I'd buy the 1/4" wildcat.

Kerry,
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. If I wind up with a 1/4" wildcat, we'll swap. I imagine they're a bit tougher to find though as the windlass would be kinda overkill for boats using 1/4"...
Cheers,
Aaron

saw one FS a while back, but cant remember where....Ebay I think. You should be able to find an ABI around if you keep checking Craig's list and Ebay. Actually, why not put a wanted ad on Craig's list?

Cheechako,
Thanks for the idea; I hadn't considered putting an ad there.
Best,
Aaron

All bronze manual horizontal windlass. "same as sea tiger 555." two speed. 650 usd.
