Please tell me more. I am assuming the weather fax is a RF receiver and not dependent on an Internet connection? Is that true? The USB connection is for a PC connection only and the unit has the software to map the weather fax?

Unfortunately I do not know a lot about it. I'm selling things my husband purchased for the boat before he passed away. I know the cable attaches to the PC with a USB and, in our case, he would have attached it to our iCom M802 SSB transceiver. In the box there is only the software and the cable. The manual is a PDF file on the CD. If you need to know more I guess you can Google it. Sorry.

This is the weather fax software and a device to connect to a SSB receiver and feed the data into a USB port.

It's good stuf, but again is only software and a USB demodulator.

You will need to supply a radio with an output jack (headphone 2.5 mm)
