I would suggest a higher output model with a stainless steel high pressure pump. We have a PowerSurvivor 35 and it is regularly non functioning. I've purchased several surplus units just for parts.

Take a look at a small unit from Echotec. You will get more water in a shorter period of time meaning your energy use won't actually be higher even though it draws more, and you get a sweet stainless steel pump. They are built in Trinidad and are well supported. Membranes and parts can be purchased off of the shelf, unlike the Katadyne, and there are no complex controllers to fail (which is probably the only good thing I can say about our PowerSurvivor 35).
