Wanted blue water cruiser

Coming from the dark side (power boats) looking for a cruiser. Not too much work but very handy in all phases of restoration. I have a beautiful mountain lot in Cashiers N.C. worth 40k we could trade with cash for the right boat.

Cheers

Re: Wanted blue water cruiser

I have a 41.1 foot CC Bristol 1980 4.5 draft. The (roller furling, electronics, etc.) ... needs updating... Looking for $50K. Boats in updated condition go for a hell of a lot more....see sister ships for sale...

How long would it take to sell your lot at $39k?

Re: Wanted blue water cruiser

Hi Sailingfarmer,

Do you have any pictures of the Bristol?

I listed the lot for 2 months but season ends in the mountains end of Oct.

To answer your question...as soon as someone with cash comes along. Lot loans don't exist right now.

Hey, interested in a 41ft Gulfstar, completely outfitted and ready to go? I'm interested in the proposition. Let me know. Asking 69K and in the market since a few months.

Merry Christmas (a little late) The Mason looks like a Beauty! My wife and I honeymooned on Moorea and would love to return. I should throw in that I'm 6'3" and need to make sure the head room is at least 6'4" How much is the Mason?

Re: Wanted blue water cruiser

Did you by any chance see my Southern Cross 35 for sale on this site since a few weeks?

The boat is in very good condition, moored @ Tahiti for the cyclone season and they don't come more 'blue water' than this!

I, too, would like so e more info on the land though.
Cheers, magnus

Re: Wanted blue water cruiser

G'day, Mate. My Mason has 6 foot 6 inches of headroom through most of the interior, so you should be fine with the height requirement. Cheers and Happy New Year.
