you should also look at a garcia ... I've a garcia 45 from the 80's, and it's a lovely boat (but needing an interior update ... the "big project"). Arguably better build quality than the ovni (IMHO), round bilge, from the drawing board of Philipe Harle. They are all semi-custom, but the basic hull was in a 43, 45, and 47.

jannw, yes the Garcias are gorgeous, added to my list of coveted vessels, an interior rebuild sounds fun, especially as I worked in the trades. have fun with your project.

Meanwhile still looking, while starting to list my Hans Christian 38T for sale in the next coming months.

I hear rumor that there are two Boreal 44's up for sale. Both should be about 5 years old. You might want to email Boreal and they will let you know if rumor is real. Boreal has the Ovni beat by miles but both are great boats.

If you want something cheap and needing work you will have these:

If you want more go to a French site like the one above and have a search. French were among the First ones to have Aluminium sail boats. Them and the Dutch, you can do the same on Dutch sites, even if Dutch boats tend to be more expensive and maybe stronger (depending).

All above = about. For details need to contact Owners. Asking Eur 150,000. Last known location is Portugal, but this should be checked as well.

This won't be very helpful, I fear, but I swear that I saw just the boat you want list for sale in Florida (if my memory is correct). I recall that it was definitely in need of work and thus was had a very low price for these boats. But maybe it sold already. Again, I realize this might not be very helpful...
