Volvo MS2B (7 Degree down angle) transmission with 2.37 reduction gear. The trans is in excellent condition and came from a Volvo 2003. $500.00 plus shipping.

Yes, the transmission is still available. I have never shipped anything overseas so I am not sure what that would cost but I would be willing to bring it to a UPS service center and have them pack and ship it to you. Best,

Thanks for your quick response. Could you check with UPS to find out the price? I have absolutely no idea what it could cost, but if its possible for lets say less than $250 I'm perfectly willing to pick up the bill. If it should be more I'd rather you consult with me first. I'm in no urgent need of it, so the slowest delivery service would be suitable. There is of course the other problem of how to get the payment to you - does UPS have any sort of Cash on Delivery service, or otherwise I can get my bank to write a bank draft for the total amount. Any other ideas?
Of course, this is contingent on the gearbox being in excellent condition. My present gearbox wore down at the engine / gearbox coupling - apparently a not so infrequent problem with the Volvo 2003. Is there any chance you could photograph the box and mail me the pictures?
