Re: Van de Stadt Steel Cutter
Ahanan still available, now with NEW SURVEY and CLEAN AUDIO GAUGE.
We are lowering her price again as we are anxious to sell her and move on to new projects. This beautiful, comfortable and safe 36 foot center cockpit cutter is now offered at the exceptionally good asking price of $46K. We must part with her now. Come see her, and then try to find as much boat for the same or less price. She is on the hard at Jabins Yard in Annapolis, MD.
All audio gauge samples show plating below waterline in good shape, and at or near 4mm. Results available. Serious inquiries only, please.

Re: Van de Stadt Steel Cutter
If this boat was available for this price 10 or 12 months from now I would be very interested in taking a look....
Im surprised theres not a little more interest. It has alot of things that you dont see together very often.
Good luck with the sale.. Or keep using it for a year and sell it to me .

Re: Van de Stadt Steel Cutter
Reminder on LOWERED PRICE for Van de Stadt steel cutter "Ahanan". Now asking $46K. We now have a new survey with audio gauge. Ahanan is in great condition, powerfully built, able and ready for spring cruising. This is an amazing good price for a serious and safe off-shore vessel with the qualities she has and the condition she is in. We have come down to this price in the interests of selling her soon.
Please, serious inquiries only.
Thanks to everyone for all the interest!
Harry

Here's wishing you well. I do agree the price seems good.

Re: Van de Stadt Steel Cutter
Thank you. As you undoubtedly know, steel is a great, durable and fantastically strong marine material. We're sorry to be letting her go.

Re: Van de Stadt Steel Cutter
We looked into this boat a while, back before determining she was too small for our young family. Boat came from a very good yard and if you look close, she has some smart features. The former Morvoren Seacraft in Penryn, Cornwall, is now no longer in business. From my understanding, they built mainly Dutch Van de Stadt designs. The Dutch know about as much about steel design and construction than anywhere else in Europe. We owned a So, African built Van de Stadt for years and were very happy overall, particularly with the sailing characteristics.
Best of luck.
Matt
