Trailer Dolly

Heavy duty version with dual, molded ABS wheels and tires. (Never deal with flat tires!) Has 1-7/8 in ball, but that is interchangeable. Used this to maneuver a catamaran sailboat on a trailer in the backyard. Much easier than dealing with trailer-mounted lift wheel. In very good condition. $40. Local pickup only (Houston or Clear Lake, Texas), please.

sailjumanji, I will buy it if UPS Ground to Cheyenne is reasonable. I don't think that any kind of packaging is required. gts1544 - George - gtspettigue at gmail dot com or 307-two five six-6650

Re: Trailer Dolly

I checked with USPS today. Around $67 for shipping. My guess is that is "prohibitive." Was planning to check with UPS, but got a local guy that might take it tomorrow. My experience with UPS and trying to ship motors - and even just the lower units - is that really get you for long and wide packages. Companies that do a lot of shipping get volume breaks. If the guy falls thru tomorrow, I may see how small it can be disassembled, and try USPS again. So what is your idea of "prohibitive" shipping cost? The bar is a welded tube that is heavy - not like the cheap Attwoods out there now. So we're fighting both weight and size, trying for cheap shipping. ;-)

The halyard I listed fit in a USPS flat rate large box. Approx $15 shipping. What a deal, for US destination.
