Tiller Pilot Remote

Wanted to buy.
Hand held remote for Navico or Simrad Tiller Pilot they were available for all the Navico models and some of the simrad ones after they took over Navico but have been discontinued on the current models. It should have a 5 metre cable and plug. <pappas@xtra.co.nz>
Cheers,
Steve.

Re: tiller pilot remote

I need to check my spares, but I think I may have one. How to get it to you and what's it worth?

Re: Tiller Pilot Remote

Hi AllAboutMe, Thanks for the reply, I am fitting an old Aries SS and I want to use my Navico to power it when the wind is variable or non existant and for coastal work.
I am getting too old to clamber over the pushpit to alter course directly on the tiller pilot, and was hoping to find a remote to allow me to do it from the dog house.
My Postal address is: Steve Pope, 7 Marohemo Road, Maungaturoto 0583, Northland, New Zealand. I look forward to hearing from you.
email <pappas@xtra.co.nz>
Regards,
Steve.

Re: Tiller Pilot Remote

I have a programmer ...it looks just like the remote, but only a 5 foot coiled cord, like a telephone cord. I'll email you photos as soon as I get home.

Re: Tiller Pilot Remote

If you still have the remote for the tiller pilot, I would be interested. Mine is a TP5000.
