Spectra water maker

Looking for a unit and ready to install. Something like the Newport 12VDC model would be perfect..... but not too picky.

Re: Spectra water maker

I have a factory rebuilt Clarke pump I was thinking of selling. All the other components can be sourced inexpensively to have a DYI "spectra" PM me if interested.

Re: Spectra water maker

I'd be interested in that pump if he doesn't want it. How much would you be asking?

Paul.

Re: Spectra water maker

It is a 10% pump. I will put up a new ad for it. My long term cruising plans are uncertain and not sure what the shelf life of the rebuilds are. I believe it was done in 2014. Will double check.

Re: Spectra water maker

I got my hands on a complete system earlier today so I personally am now taken care of regarding my need of a spectra water maker.

Re: Spectra water maker

Yes I saw that one about 3 a.m. this morning on eBay and decided I'd risk it I'll find out how good of shape it's in when I get it but it looked decent

Re: Spectra water maker

Sorry for stealing it from you I have tried twice on this forum been the first responder both times neither time did I get it they sold it to someone else so I was very disappointed and just decided when I thought I want on eBay that I might as well just take that one and be done with it

Re: Spectra water maker

I maxed out at $1000 anyway I already have a Spectra equivalent with our HRO, but like tinkering with these things.
