Looking to sell a Schaefer System 750
Roller Furling unit for boats 21-28'. This unit was installed on my
boat as a
mainsail furler (on stainless
mast standoffs) by the previous owner. I am having new
sails made and going back to a simple slab reefing system. The unit was purchased in the mid 2000s and used for two seasons by the previous owner. I used it a few times this past season but didn't like the shape of the roachless main. The unit is in perfect working order.
Includes five (5) standard extrusions (72"), one (1) short bottom extrusion (1'-1/4"), one (1) top extrusion (40"), drum,
furling line, integral toggle, 3/8" turnbuckle lower body and original manual. The buyer will need to provide a stay and rivets for the extrusions. The unit previously had a solid rod stay which will impossible to ship.
Mauri sells these units new for about $1400. I would like to get about half that shipped.
