This may be considered a novelty item on a boat today, but I have a gently used Mk25 sextant which has not been used since the late 80s. Excellent condition. $50 plus $20 shipping.

SOLD. At the pharmacy were I shipped, the shipping ladies asked me what was in the box. I told them a sextant. They looked at each other strangely, then looked at me. They thought I was shipping some kind of sex toy. I spelled sextant and explained what it was. I'm sure the buyer will have fun with his new "toy".

It won't be a novelty if the world goes to hell and they knock out or turn off GPS. I have 2 and know how to use them.

That was a good price. The new owner can turn around and sell it on Ebay for probably $200bucks.
