I believe a 39' was just put up on the market in Morehead NC. 1988 with two new engines but that is about all the details that I know!

Re: Seeking Privilege 37/395 Catamaran for purchase

Thanks for the heads up. Do you know if the boat is a 39 or a 395 ? If I am not mistaken the 39 has the steering located on the end of one of the hulls, unprotected from weather and such. Hence why I am seeking a 37/395. I am kinda of leaning towards the 37 in that I prefer the galley being down (in one of the hulls instead of the bridge deck) As well as I imagine would be easier to single hand. I only included the 395 in my query for, well, I have no idea really, haha. But again, thanks for the heads up. Be Good or not

Re: Seeking Privilege 37/395 Catamaran for purchase

I believe you will find it pretty hard to find a 395. In fact, the only one I've ever seen, or seen advertised, was a Solomon Electric Drive boat. It was new on the market by Catco for years without selling. I went aboard once out of curiosity. It was a typical Privilege in terms of layout and outfitting (very nice!), but with those electric motors. They kept dropping the price and I don't know if it was ever sold. It was called "Starlight Express" (ironically, perhaps, Catco's service facility for many years was called "Starlight").

They may not have made many 395's. The 39's, on the other hand, were quite popular, and very sound boats. Look up Dave on Welcome to Maxing Out and a frequent contributor here. He circumnavigated on one.
