Well, now that's a tough one.

The snap shackle is the 5" swivel model, retails at over $100. Rope goes for $1.70/ft, so retail on that adds another $190. Since it isn't new I'm offering 75% off. Free shipping to where?

94705 is in ca. maybe it will fit in one of those usps flat rate boxes? i don't know too much about shipping costs but i just figured it would be that much. and i like round numbers. maybe we could split shipping? just for reference i bought a spin halyard 02/06/14 that was 113 of 7/16 xls extra with a snap shackle for $151.15 so, i don't really need it but i thought it would be a good back up. let me know what you think.

I appreciate your interest in negotiating, But at 75% off, that's bottom line. I will ship however you want, cheapest method. But for a 9/16" halyard with shackle at this price, I'm unwilling to absorb the shipping.

It might help if you could check on exactly what you are selling. Samson don't make LS in 9/16". The rope in the photograph looks more like something a bit thinner. Maybe 1/2" ?

Thanks for the critique. It seems I deleted a letter in the description. My specification as delivered by Tartan Yachts show Samson XLS, 9/16" diameter. By visual inspection and measurement, it is plainly NOT ½".
