This is a true statement. Machine works even better with the flywheel.

Be very careful shipping the machine. If you just pack up in the case, the machine (due to weight) will break loose within the case and damage itself. Believe me, I know of what I speak on this.

I found this out too. Then I found the note in the manual that says not to ship it in it's carry case. Luckily, only my case was damaged.
