Will you take $300? If so, give me a call and we will work out details. Thanks.

Re: Sailrite LS-1

Will keep it for $300 thanks for the offer. Monster wheel kit and binding attachment adds a great deal of $$ to the machine.

Re: Sailrite LS-1

I have the LSZ model and would be interested in a separate offer for the monster wheel and attachments you have, should you want to split it up.

Thanks

The photo is of a machine in the bottom half of the carry case......so I'd say it's a portable machine

Re: Sailrite LS-1

They are "portable" in the sense that they come in a very nice timber case with a handle on the top.

Then you have to lift them! Pretty heavy, like around 50 lbs.

Re: Sailrite LS-1

Thank you Jim. The picture was dark and I wasn't 100% sure it was portable. Knew they were heavy, but did not realize they were 50 lbs. heavy. That is a lot of extra weight to add to the boat.

Re: Sailrite LS-1

Well, any good machine will be pretty heavy. The Pfaff 130 that we had before the Sailrite was pretty similar in weight, and that was a top of the line home machine from the '50s.

So far we are enjoying the Sailrite... works very well and the walking foot is a huge improvement in some materials, useful in all materials.
