We all are & wish you the best. It's just that sometimes the lure of cruising can result in the inexperienced getting in over their heads. It's amazing how cheap
you can buy a big sailboat these days but the costs of owning the boat, which can be immense, are often not apparent to the buyer until after the purchase
. I've looked at hundreds of boats & I can tell you from experience that boats always look better in pictures than they do in person. Do not buy a boat without inspecting it in person.
