Sailboat in Florida or Gulf Area

I am looking for a sailboat in the 30' range. $15k or less... I am looking for pressure water, hot water, diesel motor, decent electrical and plumbing conditions...keel depth 5' or retractible..

For liveaboard

the lower hte price the more 'cleaning' and repairs I will expect...and am willing to do...

thanks

I don't know of a boat right now that fits your needs, good luck with the hunt. There is a new free website where you can also post this in the wanted section.

Not sure about the hot water, but that's easy to add.

(I have very short hair and it was more then noticable... it was huge) sorry not trying to be gross, but mroe highlighting the fact i cant remember soemthing that happened ten minutes ago to prevent it from happening again and again... hehehehe

1973 CAL 2-29 Sail Boat For Sale - www.yachtworld.com
This boat is across the pier from me, its been for sale for a ove year and the owner bought a new catalina and would love to get thisone sold so he can put the catalina in the slip. You could pick it up for 6k no problem and its not a bad boat.

This one is 2 boats down from me and has also been for sale for a year or better, Needs work but could be a nice boat, has a nice dodger .

1985 Hunter 31 Sail Boat For Sale - www.yachtworld.com
I dont know anything about this one, but it looks like a great deal .

Trust me when I tell you that what ever you spend on a cheap boat You will double or triple over 2 years if you want to make everything right. My 6500 boat is easily over 15k but I have been through every inch and am confient in its condition

Bill,

What about looking at boats in the NE? Yes I know it's cold as a well diggers posterior at the moment but have seen some really good deals on 30' range boats there. A friend got a 26' Colombia free (but had tot pay the storage bill which was only a couple thousand).

hello, thanks for the links to yachtsworld and ebay...I have scoured those like crazy.. and actually comitted to not looking at them for a week to hopefully allow them to change or update a little...

I was hoping to find some actual boat owners who want to sell thier boats.. this way they are a user member of this forum and might have a reputation????

Also if they are the owner, they are willing to talk publicly about thier boat, (show some pride and history?)

and yes, i ahve seen seen some of the boat listings from the NE... the prices are a bit better, but living up there for 6 months until i make her and myself seaworthy is not on the list of priorities...

So. Cal boat prices are the best i can find... i have found some almost free boats here and some screaming deals on some decent boats... b ut I will pay a few thousand bucks more to have the boat in the SE... seems crazy when i say it out loud..

paying more for the same thing, just in a different location... i must be stupid, or foolish.. but i really want to get the hell out of california and left coast... this place effing sucks... the only thing 'nice' about this side is my daughter... and she is hit and miss... mostly miss... i am done over here and if i dont get away from here then so am i..... I have 'sat in my chair' and stuck in my house wihout friends and family for more then a year, waiting... and whatever friends and family i had have blown me off...

not saying it is 'their fault', it isnt.. it is mine.. i put myself into this position, (mostly), and need to make this change or my arse will resemble the 'naugahyde' that sits on...

i would rather have it look like strips of teak... hehehehe

PLEASE, if you own a boat, and have a history... a blog that i can follow of you and your boat, pleaes let me know...thanks

bill
