In 1994 we purchased S/V Moondancer, then known as S/V Far Ranger. In 1996 we hauled S/V Moondancer out of the water, where we spent the next 8 years doing a complete refit. The original teak decks were removed and all wood was replaced, fiberglassed and painted with all-grip and non-skid.
At that time, the toe rails, life lines and all rigging was replaced.
All through holes were replaced.
New Fuel tank was custom built.
A new Yanmar engine was installed, with new gauges, harness and wiring.
The haul, mast and decks were painted.

The interior was completely redone with new cushions, paint, refrigerator, stove and hot water heater. More storage cupboards were installed.

In 2007 new main, mizzen and jib sails were purchased, as well as a new roller furling installed.

Other upgrades were:
2009 new refrigerator
2012 new electric toilet
2012 new water pump

S/V Moondancer is now located in Bocas del Toro, Panama

Asking $45,000

Re: S/V Moondancer 39' Tidewatch

Hi Cynd,

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not currently in the market myself but I think any interested parties might want to know how much you are asking for your boat.

Regards
Skip

Thanks Skip, I'm new to this. Will go back and edit if I can figure out how.

Hi Cynd,

I don't think the forum software allows you to edit a previous post for more than a few minutes.

You can post another message with additional information or you can ask one of the moderators to edit the original post if you prefer.

Re: S/V Moondancer 39' Tidewatch

By the way, if you do want to contact one of the forum moderators the process is not completely obvious. You have to scroll all the way to the very bottom of the page and you will see a bar with a few menu options. The first choice is "contact us". I believe that's how to get a message to the mods who are friendly and helpful.

Hi Skip,
It allowed me to edit and I've added the asking price to the bottom. Don't know how I did it but it worked. I'm trying to add more photos but can't. Thanks for the help.
