This is a
autopilot from our Caliber 28, it a
Raymarine St-4000+ complete system. we never used it when we bought it on our
boat last year because it was disconnected. Just this week I was taking apart my
edson post and decided to give it a shot and
power it up. Well the
head unit boots up and the
compass shows a bearing. When pressing auto the
wheel does not turn. The
wheel component
clutch engages and when you tun it you can feel the
motor turn which is good. I think the fault may be the
head but I am changing auto pilots and am not going to spend any more time dealing with this. I would look at this as a great
parts package, most of the
parts like the
compass and wheel unit are similar if not the same as other newer wheel pilots i believe. This is all I know about this unit and it will be a As Is kind of deal. Love to answer any other questions! $350 OBO
