Pur /Katadyne PowerSurvivor 40
for sale. Came with
boat and leaked. I recently replaced all
seals and tested membrane but found a scored piston shaft and that was where the leak was. The new
seals did not stop leak. The new piston assembly is about $250 so I decided to not put any more
money into it as I was going to go with a higher output model anyway. The leak is clearly coming from the shaft so I suspect that will fix it.
Membrane tested at 1.3 gallons per hour which was within specs but it may need
cleaning. I did not clean it.
Membrane is recently pickled (today) and
motor had
oil replaced with seals last week and comes with
cleaning and pickling chemicals, 2 filters and container, hoses and 2 three way valves. Misc. hose clamps, etc.
There is some superficial
corrosion on body where it mounts but
motor runs good.
