For Sale: Pur (Katadyn) 40E Watermaker

I just bought a much larger HRO watermaker and want to sell this PUR 40E water maker to help fund the purchase.

It may need to have the membrane replaced as it wasn't used for a few years. I tested it out in my kitchen on 2/18/2012 and the 35,000 PPM water came out as 225 and tasted salt free, but the TDS meter isn't calibrated. I stored it with sodium bicarbonate, as I knew I wasn't going to use it for the next few months.

It comes with the rebuild kit shown in the photo ($140 cost to me). Looking for $1100 plus shipping.
