Pressure Kerosene Stove w/ Oven
Our boat came with a kerosene cooking system. It's a three burner stove with oven, and includes the tank, lines, filter, and pump. There's also a 12v compressor included to save your arms. Everything works.
It's available for pickup in Channel Islands Harbor/ Ventura, California area.
I'd like $100 for everything. Or free if you find yourself in a spot. We've all been there.

Sweet deal for someone. There are a few of us. Here who really like these units. Very safe and a simple install.

Re: Pressure Kerosene Stove w/ Oven
Memories...first boat we took offshore had one and my wife baked bread every other day. Boy did I get good at keeping that stove running well. Once you get the drift its easy least..what a great deal for someone on a budget!

Re: Pressure Kerosene Stove w/ Oven
I have the exact same unit. Works very well but parts are something else. I just hope it doesn't breakdown. I also have their cabin heater. (Shipmate, long out of business)

Yes, it's still available. Somewhere in storage I have a set of spares for it, but they weren't where I remembered them being. I'll probably find them in a couple months when I pull everything out and down to the boat for our summer cruise.
Josh
-- the stove is currently in Oxnard, where I'll be Sunday through Thursday of this week. If anyone picks it up then, they have the option of taking four or so gallons of kero and a gallon or so of alcohol primer with it. After that we'll probably end up using the flammables for training.

Re: Pressure Kerosene Stove w/ Oven
Oh, and just to make it even better, depending on who's the boss that day I might be able to toss in an old turnout jacket from the surveyed out heap that could make a nice fire blanket with some sewing. Mine came in right handy when I was first learning to use the stove.

Re: Pressure Kerosene Stove w/ Oven
Sure looks like my Shipmate. I had one on my first boat and loved it for baking, cooking and extra cabin heat. Then we bought a used one for the present boat and have had trouble from day one. Got so I could tear down the burners and clean and replace everything blindfolded but finally gave up and used a camp stove with no oven, of course. Oh for the old days. This is the winter to have a stove or die trying before we head out on an extended cruise.
I have a friend in Huntington Beach who will pick it up for me but not this week. He's in Hawaii right now poor soul. Would you mind giving me your phone #. Mine is 845 674-7238 and we are on the east coast.
