Go to spiritburner.com. many stove collectors and hobbyists who might help. I got a pressure homestrand stove converted to kerosene that has served me onboard very well. Very nice people at that site.

Re: pressure kerosene stove

I have bought a couple.

Post a search on eBay. They don't come up often but they do. You may want several searches, one for "stove" and one for "cooker" and one for "hob". They have "primus" burners.

I also bought one from Bacon Sails in Annapolis that had been sittin in the back for years.

But I also think I saw one for sale either here or sailnet, just in the last few weeks. Oops, sold quick.

They were made by Taylor, Seaward, and maybe Force 10.

They are also avaliable new (for a medium fortune) from Blakes, Taylor, Lavec. Represented in the U.S. by St Brendans Isle.

Re: pressure kerosene stove

Look for a shipmate from Richmond Ring. They seem to turn up on Ebay occasionally. Had one for our cruise. My wife turned out some really outstanding meals like (Lobster Neuberg in Hana Menu Bay, Hiva Oa, Marquesas, FP} and baked some super banana bread.

The Shipmates were solidly built out of SS, gimbaled well at sea with a little additional lead under the oven, and both oven and burners worked well on our two burner stove. The oven was a little problematical as it had one heat setting which was about 350 degrees but that seemed to work for Faye's baking. Ran the burners full on and adjusted heat with iron diffusers for lower heat. Trying to adjust heat with the knobs seemed to cause the burners to clog up over time. Had to change the burners several times in the first few months of use until we let them burn wide open. After that no more problems for 4 years of live aboard/cruising. That wasn't a Shipmate problem but one with Kerosene burners.
