Press n Snap / Press and Snap

Hello all - I am in the market for a press n snap tool with the dies for setting snaps. Anyone looking to part with their kit that they don't use anymore? Email me at kelley@sailingchance.com. Must be in great working shape, but doesn't have to be new.

I'm currently in Port Canaveral, FL so something nearby would be amazing. But, I am also willing to pay to ship it to me.

Kelley

I'm sure you're hoping for the 'used' price, but see what Jean has to say. At one time she did have some Katrina-damaged stock. Mine is a drowned one, and I just applied PB Blaster and keep it oiled.

You might also consider the snaprite system from sailrite

Thanks tamicatana! I didn't see any on her site but I'll email for sure. I'm also interested in the dies that attach to the vice grips, curious now it really attaches. Is it ghetto rigged or solid. All the snaps I have are stainless so I need something pretty solid.

Talbot, that only works with the buttons that have the holes in them so the pin can go through it. It also works out to be similarly priced.

Re: Press n Snap / Press and Snap

The dies have a small shaft with an o-ring. They snap into receivers in the vice-grips. The vice-grip is made for this

This is the unit that is used in her canvas business. BTW are you sure these snaps are stainless, or are they plated brass?
