1/2 mile from an elimentry school is a good place for a shooting range. They won't let us do that here in California... wonder why?

Rest assured... I checked with the Local Sheriffs Department before discharging any weapon on my property, and the law is if you are on more than 4 acres, you can shoot a gun. However YOU ARE responsible where the bullet goes! He stopped buy and was very happy to see that all the proper precautions were taken. 1/2 mile is from the entrance. My place is way back off the road and the range is down a hill and into an embankment! Safety ALWAYS! And after all it's NC... ppl shoot guns here all the time. Keeps the crime low.
