I've got a new, unused
Pactor modem that I took off our
boat, along with the
SSB and tuner. Unfortunately, it's all in
storage in Colorado. I'll be there in three weeks, and if you haven't found one by then I can look and see what it is. The previous owner of the
boat bought the modem and never set it up. Then we got hit by
lightning and the
SSB started tripping the circuit breakers. I just took the whole thing off the boat last month. This modem would be at least four or five years old, if that tells you anything. But it's definitely never been used.
Know any electronickers who might be interested in an
iCOM SSB and tuner, too? Probably needs a diode or something. It wasn't turned on when the
lightning hit us, but when I turned it on later it would trip the dc circuit breaker. I'm sure a
radio tech could fix it.
