Monitor Windvane located in Chicago
for Sale. Unit was mounted on my 43' Slocum when I bought it in 2003. Did not need it for Lake Michigan sailing, so it was removed and stored (carefully) ever since.
Serial number is 0702920. Previous owner installed it in early 90's for a two year trip to the
Caribbean. At all other times the
boat has been a fresh
water vessel and has been stored off
boat for past nine years. It comes with the
wheel adaptor and two vanes. One vane still in original paper; the other looks as though never really used.
Rudder in perfect condition. No rust or crevice
corrosion. Asking $2,800 OBO.
