MONITOR Wind Vane - $3000 - San Diego

Monitor Wind Vane with a custom, heavy duty, collapsible, mount engineered and installed in 2006, on a 46 foot Beneteau Oceanis 461. The mount swings out of the way, with quick releases. In place or collapsed, the wind vane does not interfere with the swim platform locker, or swim ladder.

Ideal for any boat with a swim platform like the one pictured.

Comes with several wind rudders and cornucopia of spare parts and doohickeys.

Location: Harbor Island, San Diego

Thanks, I'll keep it in mind. But those shouldn't be hard to get a hold of, or have made. As I recall, they seem to be different for specific types of wheels. When we got ours, the installers modified the wheel assembly to fit the number of bolts/spokes on the wheel.

Re: MONITOR Wind Vane - price slashed by 500 buckaroos

Morgan again, the one who started this thread - just letting anyone interested know: Dropping the price to $2500 for the whole shebang. The skookum mount, all the nuts and bolts, and rudders and repair/rebuild kits, and the wheel thing, oh yeah, and the wind vane itself is even included.

It's been a great wind vane - and yes, it really works - but want to get it gone, so the fiberglass dude can get on with plugging up all the holes its departure is going to leave in the boat.
