Re: Monitor Wind Vane

Who made the installation kit for it? Scanmar says they show no record of it being fitted to anything other than the Baba 30 it was sold for.
They sent me an installation drawing for a cape dory 30 like the one you show above. The dimensions certainly are different even though the basic counter and transom are similar.

Re: Monitor Wind Vane

The design I have for the Pearson Vanguard has the Scanmar Marine contact info on it and is dated 11-30-94. I have sent a message to the previous owner to see if he can give me any more info on the installation.

Re: Monitor Wind Vane

Hi greg,
Any more thoughts on if you would be willing to ship it? No need to contact pervious owners or figure out who made mounting kits or whether or not it will work on my boat. I've done my own homework, I'll just pay you for it and be on my way. -elias

Re: Monitor Wind Vane

Elias,
Would you be willing to pay $1800.00 if I cover the shipping? I think shipping to the East Coast will cost me around $200.00.

Re: Monitor Wind Vane

Tim,
Elias and I have settled on a price and I am in the process of working out the details of shipping and payment so, it is sold. If you still want to look at it before I ship it you are welcome to do so.
I also have some other equipment like a hurricane anchor and a sea anchor as well as some sails if you are interested.
